about
Gabriel Moses is a London-based photographer and director known for his striking, atmospheric imagery. He plays extensively with lighting to create a mood of mystery, drawing viewers in with a sense of intrigue. His work is driven by a deep curiosity about the story behind each image, blending fashion, culture, and storytelling in a distinctive and evocative way.

creative thinking
The title, "Moses, Under the Skin," immediately tells a story, inviting comparisons to the biblical prophet by omitting Gabriel Moses’ first name. The title and imagery of a masked man evoke strong reactions, from intrigue to discomfort. Some may feel unsettled, while others connect with the idea of Moses as the chosen one. This layered narrative draws audiences in, allowing Moses to tell deeper stories through striking imagery and layout

design decision
The layout approach allows his photography to take center stage while staying rooted in his identity. The typography and layout reflect a refined, editorial British aesthetic. His images carry a quiet yet powerful presence, therefor they are presented in a bold, enlarged format, giving him the voice he deserve.

design decision
The digital direction of the app seamlessly aligns with the mood of his work—dark, mysterious, and dreamlike. To maintain this ethereal quality, transitions between pages fade smoothly, immersing users as if they are stepping deeper into the art itself.
